I have noticed that, even though 17th was paved back in May and all streets markings that go along with it were taking care just a few weeks ago, there is still heavy equipment on the street. The reason being that after the avenue was paved huge craters developed that caused 17th avenue to be in worst shape than it was before it was paved. Currently, if take drive on 17th Ave you will see that between 23rd and 24th the city has place 2 gigantic steel plates to fix whatever is developing under the street - more than likely another sink hole. Lets try to get it right the first time. This is costing the taxpayes a bundle.

Actually, i heard that when the repaving was done, some old underground sewer pipes ruptured and now they have to go back in to replace them.
