California based company reports their product has help reduce crime in Paterson

The californa based company Pivot3, inc. has reported that by using Pivor3’s High Definition Storage Network the Paterson Police department has been to reduce crime.  According to Business Wire, “The Paterson Police Department teamed with the City of Paterson to create a video surveillance system to patrol the city’s Urban Enterprise Zones, using wireless cameras, large-scale storage and intuitive video application software in order to increase the protection of the business community by making better use of the officers on patrol and speeding responses to calls for assistance.”

However, in this press release from Pivot3 there is no mention of actual data as to how the Paterson Police Department has been able to reduce using this technology.
