Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey announced its five honorees for its 30th anniversary Women of Achievement event. The event takes place Wednesday, April 22 at The Venetian in Garfield.

This year’s honorees include our very own New Jersey state assemblywoman Nellie Pou.

The Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey will also honor Bonnie Hodge, leader and volunteer for GSNNJ, with the Mitzi Golbek Spirit of Girl Scouting Award.

The annual Women of Achievement awards dinner honors outstanding women whose lives have been marked by personal and professional achievement and serve as positive role models, exemplifying the values Girl Scouting strives to instill in girls. This year Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey welcomes Bonnie and Steve Holmes, chairman and CEO, Wyndham Worldwide, and Janet and George Sous, regional public affairs manager, PSE&G, as the event co-chairs.  MORE>>
