GOP Chairman Tom Wilson sent a letter to governor Corzine today demanding that the Governor release emails he exchanged with former union leader Carla Katz despite an appellate court ruling Monday that Corzine isn’t legally obligated to do so. The White House is giving Citigroup $25 billion dollars. In front of the Treasury building, the president said more decisions like the Citigroup bailout could occur to safeguard the financial system in the future. As Citigroup gets the billions in bailout funds, they are keeping the $400 million dollar name rights contract for Mets stadium. The Citigroup funded stadium is Citi Field. Friday, Citigroup declined to opt out of the naming rights deal worth $20 million

Once again our neighbors to the west are attempting to drop the word "Paterson" from the borough's name.  They would like to rename it "Woodland Park."   According to the Herald News this the 4th attempt to change the name.  The proponents of the name change referendum say that changing the name would increase property values; while the opponents say that the only reason why some people would like to change the name is because they

According to Eyewitness News, 18 year old Gloria Arroyo, stabbed her infant son on the couch of her second-floor home at 147 Butler Street at around 10:30 p.m. The teen then stabbed herself as the boy's father, Jose Bell, tried to help the child.  The boy, Jose Arroyo, was pronounced dead of multiple stab wounds to the chest.
